Vice Chaired by Alex Sozonoff, F-Secure Oyj
Mission and goals
The High-Tech and Entrepreneurship Committee aims to determine solutions to key challenges that limit the development of Finnish high-tech companies. The group is dedicated to creating increased transparency between Finnish and American high-tech markets and driving cross-border investments in both directions.
Members include representatives from IBM, Idean, Dell, Cisco, Google, Ekahau, Mawell, Microsoft, Nokia, Novell, Nuventur, Orange Business Services, Sulake, Technopolis, Valimo Wireless, and 3M. Alex Sozonoff from F-Secure serves as the committee’s Vice Chair.
Message from Committee Chair: "Our committee maintains a simple mandate. There are plenty of people working on the subjects of high-tech and entrepreneurship around Finland, and many of them need a concrete link to the US. Our primary objective is to serve as that link. We want to get capital flow and business transactions going through partnerships, policy work and increased visibility between markets.”
