Finnish CleanTech to woo the US at boutique match-making event

Finland and America’s cleantech communities will convene in the fall for three high-powered days of deal-making, relationship-building and knowledge sharing at an elite matchmaking event brokered by AmCham Finland’s Energy Committee.

With the support of the US Embassy, the event will bring fifteen American cleantech giants -cherry picked for high value, growth and relevance - as well as US venture capitalists looking to put capital to work,to Helsinki from 2nd to 5th November this year.

“It's a serious, targeted approach to matchmaking”, says Energy Committee Chair, Henrik Erämetsä of Neste Oil. “We’re bent on ensuring that the right connections are made in pairing Finnish energy innovation with American partners and investments.”

Finland’s historic strengths in technology, strategic location and relatively untapped market offer tremendous upside for American companies eager to enter and compete in the Nordic region.
