Though our professional roles in the AmCham team vary, we all love what we do.
Our meetings tend to be an extravaganza of rapid-fire exchanges and bold ideas. Most of the time we execute: go to meetings, work the phones, update databases, or prepare for coming events.
The big picture is about making a difference at the interface of Finland and the outside world. As each one of us has a multicultural background, we are, while helping our member companies excel, creating the Finland of our dreams. 
As Goethe put it: “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!”

  

 


Ms. Kristiina Helenius, Managing Director
My job is to ensure the Chamber does what it has set out to do—and is good at it. To achieve this, I contact companies that stand out from the crowd, form strategic alliances with various partners, and actively participate in national and international discourse through public speaking and the media.
As Managing Director, I also have the privilege of heading this highly creative and driven team of professionals and collaborating with the board.

Ms. Annukka Junnila, Member Relations Manager
My job is to guarantee that companies get the most out of their AmCham membership. I work with members to ensure their service mix meets company-specific needs and objectives.
I manage the Member Life Cycle and Born Global programs as well as the Member Rally events designed to educate members about opportunities relevant to their business.

Mr. Kristopher Buczek, Committee Coordinator
My job is to organize committee activities so that they are goal-driven and make a desired impact. Currently, we support seven committees that act as the voice, arms, and legs of the community.
I also act as a liaison between committee chairs, committee members, and the AmCham staff.

Ms. Alexandra Pasternak, Program Manager
My job is to develop and coordinate the AmCham networks to provide a balanced mix of professional development and connections. Currently, we support six networks that span from the Defense Industry Dialogue to the Young Professionals’ mentoring program ‘Advantage.’

Ms. Virve Ilkka, Project Manager
My job is to ensure that AmCham events are first-class. At best, the logistics of our up to 60 annual happenings run so smoothly that you never think about them.
As Project Manager, I am also responsible for general office management and financial administration, including membership dues.

Ms. Renu Nair, Communications Manager

My job is to provide journalists with information that will make their task of understanding and interpreting the world of innovation, business, and transatlantic trade easier.
I help them connect with the AmCham community and stay on top of developments through tailored outreach.
As the Communications Manager, I’m also in charge of our communications tools such as this website and our monthly newsflash.

Ms. Olga Levina, Media Assistant ( Intern ) 
My job is to keep this website up to date, our library in order, and ensure that media professionals promptly get the releases and images they need. 
In addition, I provide support to the Communication Manager and the Committee Coordinator.

Ms. Janna Etchells, AmCham FutureMoney Consultant
My job is to create awareness and publicity for the premier VC event in Europe that brings together Dow Jones Venture Source and PWC MoneyTree data.
As a consultant in charge of public relations, I produce messages in cooperation with the program’s content providers and speakers and communicate them to potential participants, the VC industry, and the media.I am with Etchells Communications and work with AmCham on a contract basis.
